Die ibt GmbH vertreibt Reagenzien (Proteine, Peptide und Antigene, Antiseren, polyklonale und monoklonale Antikörper) in den Bereichen Infektionskrankheiten, Transkriptionsforschung, Zytokine und Wachstumsfaktoren. Ein neuer Schwerpunkt ist die Entwicklung immunologischer und biochemischer Testsysteme für Insulin-like Growth Factors (IGF's) und Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Proteine (IGFBP's) und verwandte Moleküle. Biotinylierte IGF´s,IGFBP´s und biotinylierte Chemokine sowie ein Biotinylierungsservice sind verfügbar. Anwendungsmöglichkeiten biotinylierter IGF´s und anderer Peptide und Proteine sind: Western-ligand Blot, ELISA, Protease assays, IHC, Immunpräzipitation, Cross-Linking, Cell Sorting, Immunhistochemie, Rezeptorbindungs- und Internaliserungsstudien, experimentelle Zelltheraphie. Neue Anwendungen in der Geweberegeneration.sind Gegenstand verschiedener Forschungsprojekte.
ibt distributes immunological reagents: recombinant proteins and antibodies (e.g.for research in infectious diseases, transcription, growth factors, chemokines and cytokines). A new focus is on development of immunoassay kits for Insulin-like Growth Factors (IGF's) and Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Proteins (IGFBP's) and related molecules. Our new biotinylation technology ensures full biological activty of the molecules. Applications of biotinylated IGF´s and other peptides and proteins are in western-ligand blotting, ELISA, protease assays, IHC, immunoprecipitation, cross-linking, cell sorting, immunohistochemistry, receptor binding and internalization studies and experimental cell therapy and tissue regeneration.
