Rat IGF-I, recombinant protein (Receptor Grade)
Insulin-like Growth Factor-I, Rat, Receptor Grade, recombinant Synonyms: Igf-1, insulin-like growth factor-1, Somatomedin c, ILGF1, Mechano growth factor
The Product: Rat IGF-I is a polypeptide comprising of 70 amino
acids, three of which differ from the amino acid sequence of
human, IGF-I. Rat IGF-I has been shown to stimulate growth in rat
L6 myoblasts and other cell lines.
Source: Rat IGF-I is produced recombinantly in E.coli using a
patented expression system. The rat IGF-I molecule is correctly
folded and several chromatography purification steps are then
employed to yield Receptor Grade rat IGF-I.
