Anti-Hantavirus Andes Nucleoprotein, monoclonal, mouse

Clone 8F3/F8

Product specifications monoclonal mouse Anti-Nucleoprotein of Andes Virus (ANDV). IgG fraction:

Clone: 8H1/B10.

Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody IgG fraction (clone 8H1/B10) obtained by immunizing mice with purified recombinant ANDV Nucleoprotein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

Isotype: IgG1.

Storage: Store at -20ºC.

Stability: Stable at least one year at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Applications: This antibody can be used in ELISA (1:30,000 dilution) and Western blot (1:15,000 dilution) analysis. It recognizes the nucleoprotein of ANDV and it has cross reactivity with the nucleoprotein of Sin Nombre virus (SNV). Hantaviruses (family Bunyaviridae) are enveloped viruses that contain a tripartite, negative-stranded RNA genome encoding an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (L), two integral membrane glycoproteins (G1 and G2), and a nucleocapsid (N) protein. The N protein is the most abundant viral component and the major antigen in early serological response in humans and mice. It has essential functions in viral RNA replication, encapsidation, and also in virus assembly. ANDV is the predominant etiologic agent of hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome in southern and is transmitted by Oligoryzomys longicaudatus.

Formulation: Solution at 1.0 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
